A large swath of people stretching from Cunupia, in central Trinidad to La Brea, in southwest Trinidad will be without pipe-borne water supply for 24 hours from 4 am tomorrow as the work commenced on the Savonetta Booster Station and other pipeline maintenance work along the Caroni South Trunk Main.
WASA in a statement advised customers that their supply should be restored by 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Customers are advised that it may take between 24 to 48 hours for the service to normalise to some areas in accordance with established water supply schedules.
Customers are further advised to maintain/establish a system of storage over the period of the disruption and to also manage their water use efficiently, the statement said.
