Time for a PTSC overhaul

It is high time officials at the Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) get off their fat butts and take a serious look at providing a proper bus service to the already hard-pressed customers; as well as handrails for the elderly who use the City Gate facility.

It hurts to see how the elderly have to struggle to climb up and go down stairs to get to maxi taxis without the use of handrails. Are these officials so safely ensconced in their air-conditioned offices, that they are not observing the daily struggle of the elderly? I find this uncaring. I use this facility every day and notice the elderly struggle. Why can’t these official fatcats walk around and see for themselves what’s taking place?

The elderly in Trinbago are under tremendous pressure, PTSC, please don’t add to it. One of the big jokes saw lately is the PTSC putting out a tender for companies interested in evaluating their customer service, when all they have to do, is simply ask travellers: How to improve the service?
