Implement systems to make travel safer
Your article headlined: “I am glad there was no damage” about a 72-year-old granny who was robbed while travelling in a PH taxi, is alarming, stressful and frightening.
As a taxpayer, I demand and insist that the Ministry of Works and Transport and the Ministry of National Security collaborate in order to put in place an efficient public transport system that is safe and reliable so as to reduce, if not eliminate, the risks of citizens being mugged while travelling to their planned destinations.
Shame on those who turn a blind eye to those in distress and blessings to those who care about the plight of our citizenry and offer helping hands.
