Two advances, five declines on TTSE
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 13 securities of which two advanced, five declined and six traded firm.
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 92,655 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $1,583,932.45. Unilever Caribbean Limited was the volume leader with 50,921 shares changing hands for a value of $1,362,862.10, followed by JMMB Group Limited with a volume of 28,000 shares being traded for $49,000. GraceKennedy Limited contributed 8,053 shares with a value of $23,514.76, while First Citizens Bank Limited added 1,649 shares valued at $57,715.
Calypso Macro Index Fund registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.30 to end the day at $17.49. Conversely, Unilever Caribbean Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $1.09 to close at $26.76.
On the Mutual Fund Market 2,900 shares changed hands for a value of $58,916.99. Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 2,700 shares valued at $55,418.99. It advanced by $0.01 to end at $20.53.
In yesterday’s trading session the following reflect the movement of the TTSE Indices:
• The Composite Index declined by 4.17 points (0.34 per cent) to close at 1,227.98.
• The All T&T Index declined by 0.65 points (0.04 per cent) to close at 1,721.45.
• The Cross Listed Index declined by 1.07 points (1.07 per cent) to close at 98.67.
