Overall market activity resulted from trading in 14 securities of which four advanced, five declined and five traded firm.

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 904,379 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $8,727,814.13. Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited was the volume leader with 755,748 shares changing hands for a value of $5,945,035.95, followed by NCB Financial Group Limited with a volume of 80,000 shares being traded for $428,000. Guyardian Holdings Limited contributed 21,279 shares with a value of $353,293.95, while First Citizens Bank Limited added 21,043 shares valued at $734,631.49.

Calypso Macro Index Fund registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.50 to end the day at $16.50. Conversely, Ansa McAL Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $1.90 to close at $58.

On the Mutual Fund Market 8,316 shares changed hands for a value of $164,655.16. Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 7,316 shares valued at $148,155.16. It remained at $20.25.

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflect the movement of the TTSE Indices:

• The Composite Index declined by 5.86 points (0.47 per cent) to close at 1,230.49.

• The All T&T Index declined by 6.37 points (0.37 per cent) to close at 1,723.09.

• The Cross Listed Index declined by 0.73 points (0.73 per cent) to close at 99.14.
