Advances for TTSE Indices

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 15 securities of which four advanced, four declined and seven traded firm.

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 551,316 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,009,380.90.

Trinidad Cement Limited was the volume leader with 504,137 shares changing hands for a value of $1,487,204.15, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited with a volume of 25,100 shares being traded for $190,737.50.

T&T NGL Limited contributed 4,672 shares with a value of $138,833.51, while Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Limited added 4,000 shares valued at $14,800.

One Caribbean Media Limited registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.25 to end the day at $12.35.

Conversely, Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.09 to close at $7.60.

On the Mutual Fund Market 21,002 shares changed hands for a value of $418,351.44.

Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 20,902 shares valued at $416,751.44. It declined by $0.03 to end at $19.94.

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflect the movement of the TTSE Indices:

•The Composite Index advanced by 3.11 points (0.25 per cent) to close at 1,231.68.

•The All T&T Index advanced by 0.35 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 1,710.64.

•The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.81 points (0.81 per cent) to close at 101.19.
