Overall market activity resulted from trading in 19 securities of which five advanced, eight declined and six traded firm.
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 532,305 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,088,194.24. GraceKennedy Limited was the volume leader with 260,847 shares changing hands for a value of $873,837.45, followed by JMMB Group Limited with a volume of 227,835 shares being traded for $455,648.36. Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited contributed 21,683 shares with a value of $169,946.53, while One Caribbean Media Limited added 10,000 shares valued at $124,700.
Unilever Caribbean Limited registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.50 to end the day at $30. Conversely, Calypso Macro Index Fund registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.92 to close at $20.48.
On the Mutual Fund Market 5,250 shares changed hands for a value of $105,274.82. Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 5,230 shares valued at $104,865.22. It advanced by $0.03 to end at $20.05.
