Massy shares climb to $47.61
Overall market activity resulted from trading in 16 securities of which six advanced, three declined and seven traded firm.
Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 569,538 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $3,344,484.13.
JMMB Group Limited was the volume leader with 227,450 shares changing hands for a value of $454,000, followed by NCB Financial Group Limited with a volume of 174,596 shares being traded for $1,141,111.88.
FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited contributed 96,427 shares with a value of $896,771.10, while GraceKennedy Limited added 32,626 shares valued at $109,247.10.
Massy Holdings Limited registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.27 to end the day at $47.61. Conversely, National Flour Mills Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.03 to close at $1.83.
Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 19,080 shares valued at $381,910.04. It advanced by $0.04 to end at $20.02
